Film in Hospital at SDOP Fest: Strong Interest from Italian Professionals
As part of the SDOP FEST 26 in San Donà di Piave (Venice), a special presentation of the Film in Hospital project was held. Led by Rosa Ferro and Edita Bilaver, the event at Sala Ronchi brought together a diverse audience, from young creatives to senior representatives of the healthcare system.
The significant interest shown by Italian doctors and healthcare professionals confirms that our model is becoming a benchmark for humanizing hospital care. We were particularly inspired by the enthusiasm of the young organizers from the San Donà Opportunity association and the mentorship of Lucia Pavan, whose dedication ensures that cinema and education reach those who need them most.
This gathering further confirmed that Film in Hospital is no longer just a project, but an necessary standard of care bridging culture, education and medicine.
Local media highlighted the importance of the panel, describing the festival as a place where “cinema becomes a space for encounter” and a platform for dialogue on vital social issues.
