Film in Hospital among 11 organizations in the finals of the international MARC Impact program
The finale of the MARC Impact Programme was held in Croatia. This international accelerator program brings together organizations from Central and Eastern Europe to develop and scale projects with measurable social and environmental impact.
The program is part of a broader European initiative launched by the ERSTE Foundation and Erste Social Finance in collaboration with international partners, while in Croatia, it is implemented with the support of the Entrepreneurial Center of Krapina-Zagorje County.
Among the 11 organizations selected for the finals was our project, Film in Hospital. This initiative uses film screenings and creative workshops to support the emotional well-being and mental health of children and young people in hospitals during their treatment, aiming to improve their quality of life.
The final presentation for the Film in Hospital project was delivered by producer Emma Grgurić. As the youngest participant and presenter among all 11 selected organizations, her contribution highlighted the importance of involving a new generation of film professionals in developing projects with social impact.
During the multi-month program, participants worked with mentors to develop their operational models, measure social impact, and prepare for further growth. The finale provided an opportunity to present results and plans for international expansion.
The Film in Hospital project continues to develop its activities in Croatia and Europe, aiming to make film content and creative workshops accessible to as many children in healthcare institutions as possible.
